Defining TCM or Traditional Chinese Medicine

An alternative form of medicine to Western Medicine as we know it - TCM - or Traditional Chinese Medicine.  This is a philosophy that embraces acupressure, acupuncture and herbal healing to name a few of its components.  It is quickly gaining acceptance even in prescription-oriented America where health care providers are starting to see gains in treatment of diseases and especially 'functional disorders' with the use of these 2000-3000 year old techniques.
